U.S. tariffs On China May Change

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton predicted that the Biden administration would cancel some of the punitive tariffs on China. Last month, U.S. Trade Representative Catherine Day stated that the government would contact Beijing to implement the trade agreement China reached with former U.S. President Donald Trump last year. And Clinton said that the Biden administration is going through some procedures to try to find the correct answer to the tariff question, because she believes that the Trump administration has hurt American agriculture, especially agricultural tariffs, during the trade war with China. China imposed tariffs on various U.S. agricultural products during the trade war, but later began to exempt some of these tariffs. The United States may reduce or eliminate some tariffs to stop China's influence on its agriculture.
